كما يتطرق إلى النظام الهيدرولوجي. ونشأته، ومياه البحار والمحيطات، والمياه الغازية. ووظائف الغلاف المائي. وإلى النظام الجوي، ومكوناته وخصائصه وعناصر المناخ ودرجة الحرارة والرياح.. إلخ. ويناقش أيضاً النظام الحيوي وطبيعته وعلاقته مع النظم البيئية. والأقاليم الطبيعية ومفهومها كإقليم الغابات الاستوائية. وإقليم الحشائش (السافانا) وإقليم الصحاري. وأخيراً يتناول موضوع الخرائط من حيث تطورها، ومساقط الخرائط، والمقياس. وتحديد المواقع الجغرافية للظواهر المختلفة، والمساحة الجوية، والاستشعار عن بعد، ونظم المعلومات الجغرافية.
ويأتي هذا في ثماني وحدات هي: (طبيعة علم الجغرافيا. الأرض وعلاقتها بالمنظومة الشمسية، النظم الأرضية، النظام الهيدرولوجي، النظام الجوي، النظام الحيوي، النظام الإقليمي.. الأقاليم الطيبعية، الخرائط).
