أما الفصل السادس (الأمراض الأكثر حصولاً عند الأطفال والأولاد وسبل الوقاية منها)، وهو الأكثر أهمية في مجال التثقيف الصحي... والأسباب المعرقلة لنمو الأطفال، إلى قصور الغدة الدرقية لديهم، فضلاً عن أمراض شائعة أيضاً، مثل السُمنة وفقر الدم... إلى بعض الأمراض ذات الطابع الوراثي، التسمم بالفول، حمى البحر الأبيض المتوسط... الخ.
