Book Description
هل صحيح أن مصر ما زالت أم الدنيا؟ بهذا السؤال يبتدأ سلام عبود روايته على لسان السيد "صاد" اثناء رحلته من ستوكهولم إلى مصر؛ بعد ثلاثة عقود غادر خلالها مصر، وعاد على أعتاب الشيخوخة وكله حنين إلى ما كان يرغب في رؤيته، من إشراقة الروح القومية المسالمة، والناس الطيبين. ولكنه حين العودة وفي الطريق إلى القاهرة وجد أن الحياة قد تغيرت وأضحت التناقضات السياسية والإجتماعية والدينية والثقافية قانوناً يومياً يسَير الفرد والمجتمع. فبدا يفكر من أين يأتي الحل إذاً؟
يقول الروائي عن عمله هذا "... في أسوج أتممت كتابة ما بدأته في تلك الرحلة كانت رواية تسجيلية سميتها "إعلان سياحي عن أم الدنيا"، تنتهي بالكلمات التي بدأت بها خاطرتي هذه: أما زالت مصر أم الدنيا، وتتحدث عن ساحة التحرير، والحصان "رامبو" الذي هاجم ساحة التحرير، والرئيس الأبدي، ودعائيي السلطة، والمدوَنين، ونشطاء الإنترنت السريين، وشركات الفساد...، إلى آخر المشاهد السياحية".
أما في الشكل، تقع الرواية في (51) مقطعاً سردياً، يحمل كل واحد منها فكرته، وأما الأحداث في الرواية فتقوم على التعاقب والتسلسل فتتواءم وتتقاطع مع الحالة المصرية، وتعود إلى ثلاثة أجيال سبقت الثورة بتياراتها المختلفة وتنتهي بقيام الثورة الأخيرة وارهاصاتها على البلاد والعباد...
