هذا الدفتر هو دفتر التّطبيق والنّشاطات والخطّ والأعداد لكتاب عقود الحروف المعدّ لصفّ الرّوضة الثّالثة، وهو مرتبط بالكتاب إرتباطاً تامّا في وحدة متكاملة لا تتجزأ، وقد جاء إستجابة لمتطلّبات الطّرائق النّاشطة الّتي تركّز على المتعلّم، محور عمليّة التّعلّم، والّتي تفرض أن يقوم المتعلّم بنفسه بالنّشاطات الشّفويّة والكتابيّة إستناداً إلى وسائل تربويّة معينة، وذلك بإشراف المعلّم (المعلّمة) وتوجيهاته.
والدّفتر، هذا، يشتمل على تمرينات ونشاطات شفويّة وكتابيّة تطبيقيّة متنوّعة، تطبيقاً لمعايير كفايات الدّرس وأهدافه الإجرائيّة، وهذه التّمرينات يتدرّب المتعلّم من خلالها، في المجال المعرفيّ، على الإصغاء والملاحظة والتّذكّر والتّمييز والمقارنة والإدراك والإكتشاف والتطبيق، كما يتدرّب، في المجال الوجدانيّ، على التّقبّل والإستجابة والتّنظيم، ويتدرّب كذلك، في المجال السّيكوحركيّ، على النّموّ في مهارات الخطّ والكتابة والرّسم.
