علوم اللغة متنوعة كالنحو، والبلاغة، والإملاء، والخط، والعروض، وما من علم منها إلا وقد ألفت فيه مؤلفات، ونظمت فيه منظومات، ومن بين علوم اللغة علم الصرف، وهو من أهم علوم اللغة كما قال ابن مالك - رحمه الله-: فإن التصريف علم تتشوف إليه الهمم العالية، ويتوقف عليه وضوح الحكم العربية، ويفتح من أبواب النحو ما كان مقفلاً، ويفصل من أبوابه ما كان مجملاً. وقال محمد محيى الدين: والحق أن علم الصرف من أجل العلوم العربية موضوعاً وأعظمها خطراً، وأحقها بأن نعني به، وننكب على دراسته، ولا ندخر وسعاً في التزود منه، ذلك بأنه يدخل في الصميم من الألفاظ العربية، ويجري منها مجرى المعيار والميزان، ومن المنظومات التي تناولت أبواباً في علم الصرف منظومة مفيدة سهلة في عباراتها يسيرية لمن أراد حفظها تسمي ب"نظم المقصود في الصرف" لناظمها أحمد بن عبد الرحيم، وقد عثرت على هذه المنظومة المفيدة في أحد المواقع الإسلامية على الشبكة العنكبوتية، وقد ضبط نصها الشيخ أحمد بن عمر الحازمي، وقمت بشرحها والتعليق عليها بعبارة سهلة يسيرة إيضاحاً للفظها، وكشفاً لغموضها، وتجلية لما تحتويه من المعاني والقواعد في هذا الفن بعيداً عن التعقيد اللفظي، وقد استفدت في شرحي هذا من كتب المتقدمين والمتأخرين في هذا الفن، ولم أعز كل نص لمرجعه، بل اكتفيت بذكر المراجع في آخر الكتاب.
