«البيداء.. وأخواتها» للأديب والقاص السعودي عمر طاهر زيلع ويضم الكتاب: "البيداء في طبعتها الرابعة"، "دعوة للقمر في طبعتها الثانية"، "أمومة في طبعتها الأولى". بالإضافة إلى "القشور"، قصة طويلة في طبعتها الثالثة. و"مسرحية تكريم فرج أو (جازة بوبل) في طبعتها الثانية. وهي نصوص كُتبت بين عامي 1395ه و1425م.
في المجموعة القصصية الجديدة «أمومة» نلمح مزيجاً من التورية والرمزية التي يتم تحويلها إلى المجازي المغلف بشاعرية رقيقة لتشكل نوعاً من هذيان الذات في جدلها مع الذاكرة، ففي هذه القصة«أمومة» يتضح جلياً أن معاناة الساردة هي في استحضار حياة والدتها الفقيدة إلى مساحة الذاكرة ليكتمل المشهد فتقول:"المشهد الآن ناقص لكن ذاكرتي راحت تكمله بطريقة خارقة جعلتني موجودة في زمانين. في لمحة البصر عدت إلى زمني المبتور..."، وبهذا المعنى يمثل (الغياب) الدلالة التي يُبحث عنها من خلال (الحضور)، والسرد محصلة صورية (مرآوية) بين المُفارَق، والمُفارِق للحصول على (حالة قصصية) ضاغطة سيميائياً، ورمزياً... وأما في القصص اللاحقة فينطلق القاص من منظور وظيفي يجعل من عملية القراءة استباق للمعنى، المعنى الذي يتجاوز السرد المباشر إلى ما هو متوقع...
