لقد كُتبت كتب ومقالات كثيرة في سيرة مولانا صدرا الشيرازي، وورد الفهرست المتعلق بها في الكتاب التذكاري عن ملا صدرا، وديباجة كتاب "سه أصل"، "الأصول الثلاثة"، وفهرست المقالات الفارسية للسيد ايرج افشار، لكنني لم أصادف حتى الآن مكتوباً دقيقاً موثقاً كاملاً متعلقاً بالسيرة الذاتية والعلمية لهذا الفيلسوف كتب بطريقة الباحثين، يليق بهذا الحكيم، لأن ينبغي مطالعة كتب التواريخ العامة والمحلية - المتعلقة بشيراز واصفهان وقم - كلها، وقراءة الرسائل وتراجم الأحوال.
والأصعب من ذلك أنه يجب تدبر كتب صدرا وتلاميذه كلها، والإطلاع على الكتب التي أسهبت في الحديث عنه، لتقصي سيرته ومعرفة أرائه.
وتتضح أراؤه الخاصة حين تتجلى مصادر عمله ومدارك أفكاره، وتظهر الكتب التي قرأها، ونقل عبارات عنها في كتاباته بذكر اسمها أو بدون ذكره، حتى تعلم من أية مسألة كان مبتكراً، وهل عرض هذه المسألة بأسلوب مبتكر؟ ودلل عليها بأدلة جديدة!...
يتطلب هذا العمل الشاق فرصة ووقتاً، ويقال إنه سوف ليستغرق سنة أو سنتين، ومن ناحية أخرى، ينبغي معرفة أفكاره، وآراء الفلاسفة وعلماء الكلام والصوفية والمفسرين والمؤرخين أيضاً، حتى يمكن فهم ما كان يفكر فيه.
كانت الدولة الصفوية قد تأسست بجهود طائفة تدعى الصوفية والفزلياش، كانت ههذه الطائفة - التي كانت قد تمذهبت بالمذهب الشيعي الإمامي - في البداية من إتباع الشيخ صفي الدين الأرديبلي، ويقال: إنه لم يكن سيداً هاشمياً وبشهادة، صفوة الصفا، مع أنهم تحركوا في ذلك، وتمذهبوا بالمذهب الشيعي، وتشروه، إلا أنّه يقال إنه كان سنياً شافعياً.
كانت عقيدة هذه المجموعة قائمة على التعليم والتسليم أصلاً، وعدّواً - على عكس الصوفية الحقيقيين - الملك الصفوي مرشدهم، وأطاعوا أمره، وكان يؤدون كل ما بأمر به من قتل الناس وسلب الأموال وقتل أولاد الملك نفسه أو أولادهم أنفسهم، وفق العين، وقطع الأذن والأنف، وإيذاء الناس، ولم يتورعوا عن أي مسلك وحشي، والتاريخ الصفوي كله حافل بشروح سلوكيات هذه الطائفة غير المعقولة.
