عندما يبتعد الإنسان عن الدين الصحيح والعلم تتمكن فيه الأفكار الجاهلية الخاطئة التى يروح لها عن طريق العمد او الخطأ جهلاء ومدعى علم ، هذا ما نجده في مجال "الجن" .. حيث أنه حقل خصب للترهات والأفكار الموضوعة التى لا أساس لصحته حيث نجد هاك من اتخذ له منبرا يعالج الناس منه مدعيا العلم بالقرآن والسنة وعلم الجنة وخوافيه وفي هذا الكتاب يقدم لنا المؤلف "إيهاب حسن" ففنيدا قاطعا لهذه الإدعاءات التى ينشرها البعض في الكتب والمجتمع الإسلامي كجزء من الدين الإسلامي وهو منها برئ " فيقدم نبذة تاريخية عن العلاج من المس الشيطاني والصرع منذ العصور القديمة وكيف ان معظم هذه الخزعبلات تعود أصولها إليها وتظهر في أوقات التخلف والبعد عن الدين وضعف العقيدة ثم يبين لنا التفسير العلمي لمرض الصرع والهيستريا والتفسير الإسلامي لهما وبعد ان يقدم المؤلف خلفية تاريخية ويشرح كيفية إثبات صحة أو خطأ قضية ما في علم الأصول ، يعرض الإدعاءات والاثباتات التى يسوقها "شيوخ" و "علماء" ويتبعها بالرد القاطع عليها وتفنيدها وإثبات خطأها و صعفها الشديد.. إنه كتاب يهب بالقارئ الرجوع إلى الدين الإسلامي الصحيح والنهوض بالأمة من هذه المستنقعات الغريبة عنه.
