الرواية (فينيقيل) هذه وثيقةُ إدانة للتعصّب والعنصرية وللهمجية الغربية عامّةً، والإسرائيلية بشكل خاص.
يزعم المؤلف أن البشرية – منذ بدء الخليقة وإلى اليوم لم تعرف من الحضارة إلاّ شقّها المدني، إذ لا بدَّ لها من توافر شقّين أولهما "الروحي" أو الإنساني، والآخر المتمّم هو "المدني".
ووحدهم السوريّون الأوائل عرفوا الحضارة وبنوها بشقيّها المدني والإنساني، وهم لم يفتحوا البلاد التي وصلوا إليها عنفاً، بل بالحب والحَرْف...
بالسلام، والسلام هو اسم الله، وهم رسل السلام والمعرفة إلى الكون لذلك هم (فينيق – إيل).
بين أبطال الرواية ممثلون لجميع الدول المتمدِّنة، يرافقهم "فينيقيل" جديد، في رحلة "سلام" أممية... لكن الهمجية ما زالت بالمرصاد... فكانت الـ...
