منصور إدريس حسن الصُويّم - الاسم الأدبي (منصور الصُويّم) – ولد في ١٨ / ٢ / ١٩٧٠م مدينة نيالا ـــ دارفور ـــ السودان.
– درس الدراسات النقدية ـــ كلية الموسيقى والدراما ـــ جامعة السودان للعلوم والتكنولوجيا.
– له خمس روايات "تخوم الرماد 2001، ذاكرة شرير 2006، أشباح فرنساوي 2014، آخر السلاطين 2014، عربة الأموات 2016، وثلاثة كتب بالمشاركة مع كتاب عرب وسودانيين.
– ترجمت روايته ذاكرة شرير إلى اللغة الفرنسية – ترجمة فرانس ميير.
– ترجمت روايته تخوم الرماد إلى اللغة الإنجليزية – ترجمة ناصر السيد النور.
- ترجمت له قصص قصيرة إلى عدة لغات منها الإنجليزية والفرنسية والسويدية.
– مِنحة الصندوق العربي للثقافة والفنون (آفاق) عن رواية (آخر السلاطين) – سيرة تاريخية عن السلطان علي دينار آخر سلاطين دارفور – 2011.
– اختير ضمن أفضل ٣٩ كاتباً عربياً دون الأربعين للمشاركة في فعالية بيروت عاصمة للكتاب العالمي ٢٠١٠م.
-اختير ضمن ثمانية كتاب عرب شباب في أول ورشة سرد "الندوة" التابعة لجائزة البوكر العربية في العام 2009، وصدر عن هذه الورشة كتاب باللغتين العربية والإنجليزية للكتاب الثمانية عن دار الساقي.
– جــائزة الطيب صالح للإبداع الروائي 2005م ـ عن رواية ذاكرة شرير – الخرطوم السودان.
-جائزة بيروت 39 2010 عن رواية ذاكرة شرير – بيروت لبنان.
– جائزة الطيب صالح للإبداع الكتابي – شركة زين في حقل الترجمة (الجائزة الأولى) عن رواية (تخوم الرماد) للمترجم ناصر السيد النور 2012.
-شارك في ملتقى الرواية العالمي في مدينة ليون الفرنسية في العام 2012.
– كاتب زاوية يومية بصحيفة اليوم التالي السودانية.
