قال الرسول "صلي الله عليه وسلم" "أصحابي كالنجوم، بأيهم اقتديتم اهتديتم ، ففي سيرهم الأخلاق السامية والإسلام الحق والنفوس الطاهرة، ومنها يهتدى المسلمون ويتعلمون كيف هي أخلاق الإسلام القوى السمع، لذا فقد لزم قصتها وحكيها للصغار، بشكل يجيب إلي نفوسهم الإسلام والقيم والمبادئ الرفيعة، فتكون بمثابة جزء من تكوينهم وشخصيتهم.. فالتعليم في الصغر مثل النقش علي الحجر، وهذا هو ما فعلته الأستاذة "نانيس محمد عزت" بقلمها حين خطيت هذه المجموعة العطرة التي تحتوى علي سير بعض من الصحابة بأسلوب يسير يناسب النشئ الصغير، وكذلك حين صاغتها في سياق قصة أو حكاية تقال من خلالها قصة الصحابي الجليل أياً كان.
وقد جاء في المجموعة الثانية من هذه السلسلة لصحابة الرسول خمسة عشر كتيباً صغيراً يحمل كل منها سيرة صحابي واحد فقط، فنجد فيها سيرة (عمار بن ياسر، جعفر بن أبي طالب، أبو هريرة، عمير بن سعد، سلمان الفارسي،عبدالله بن مسعود، الطفيل بن عمرو الدوسي، عبدالله بن عمر،عكرمة بن أبي جهل، جابر بن عبدالله،عمير بن وهب،بلال بن رباح، خباب بن الأرت، عبدالله بن حبش، طلحة بن عبيد الله التيمي).
انها مجموعة تثقيفية مفيدة للصغار تملأ عقولهم بالمعرفة التي تؤكد وشائج الصلة بينهم وبين ثقافتهم الإسلامية.
