يتناول الدكتور "محمد حسن العدروس" فى هذه الدراسة الوثائقية الجزر العربية والاحتلال الإيرانى لها، كنموذج للدراسات العريقة الإيرانية، وقد جاءت الدراسة فى خمسة مجلدات تمثل أجزاء الدراسة، وفيها يتناول المؤلف جيواستراتيجية الجزر العربية والأهمية العسكرية والاستراتيجية والجغرافية والإقتصادية لهذه الجزر، كذلك يطل على الخلفية التاريخية للعرب وإيران حتى العام 1797 ولا ينسى أن يتناول القاجار وسياسة التوسع والاحتلال التى اتبعها حتى عام 1887 والدور البريطانى فى هذا النزاع حتى عام 1921، وكذلك احتلال إيران للجزر وادعاءاتها ومسألة رفع العلم وملكية الجزر، يتعرض الكتاب أيضاً للسياسة الإيرانية تجاه هذه الجزر المحتلة وسياسة الامارات تجاه هذا الاحتلال، وموقف مجلس التعاون من الاحتلال الايرانى والموقف العربى عامة تجاه هذه القضية، وكذلك الموقف الدولى.
