لقد قمت هذا العمل المتواضع بمحاولة لترسيم ابعاد البطولة فى تاريخنا الإسلامي- الذى يجهله الكثير- ذلك الكنز الوافر والبحر الزاخر، فأفسح لأبطاله العظماء مجالاً يعبرون فيه عن أعمالهم لاسيما وأن الساحة قد خلت الآن من نظائرهم بل من اشباههم. وقد أقبلت أجول فى ساحتهم وأطوف فى رياضهم وقد ركزت لى أهم أبطال تاريخ الإسلام وأردفتهم تترا فى طبقات فبدأت بالصحابة الذين حملوا الدعوة وأعانوا النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم ثم التابعين الذين اقتدوا بأصحاب السبق فى الإسلام، ثم الفاتحين من بعدهم الذين نشروا دين الله تعالى ومكنوا له فى الأرض وهدموا طواغيت الكفر. وقد ألقيت الضوء بالخرائط لتوضيحية لتكون الضورة اقرب إلى الأذهان وأدعى إلى التثبيت والوضوح وبذلك تستشعر النفس عظيم جهودهم فنعيد الحق إلى نصابه ونوفهم بعض من واجبهم نحونا، فهم يستحقون منا الثناء وأن يعلوا الواحد منهم على كل سماء. وبذلك يكونوا قدور لنا ولأبنائنا في ظل مجتمعنا الذى كثرت فيه المفاسد وغابت القدوة الطيبة، لنصنع مجمعاً ناهضاً وأمة رائدة يتحقق فيها قول اللع تعالى "كنتم خير أمة أخرجت للناس"
