Book Description
يعتبر قصر إسماعيل صديق من القصور المهمة التي تناولتها في دراستي حيث شيد هذا القصر في القرن التاسع عشر وهو القرن الذي شهدت فيه مدينة القاهرة طفرة معمارية وفنية هائلة نتجت عن علاقة مصر بأوروبا، ومحاولة العديد من الأمراء والباشوات تطبيق النظام المعماري- الوافد إلى مصر- في قصورهم ومنشآتهم.
ومن الملاحظ أن إسماعيل صديق باشا الشهير بالمفتش كان من أهم الأمراء والباشوات الذي بلغوا من المناصب والشهرة ما لم يبلغه أحد.
ولعل من أشهر ما شيده هو قصره الجنوبي الذي يقع بميدان لاظوغلي، والذي كانت تشغله نظارة المالية، وهذا القصر كان ضمن ثلاث قصور أنشأها إسماعيل صديق المفتش في شرق حي الاسماعيلية، وقد كان القصر الأول تشغله نظارة الداخلية والقصر الثاني تشغله نظارة الحقانية، أما القصر الثالث وهو موضوع الكتاب فكانت تشغله نظارة المالية.
وقد تناولت الدراسة نبذة تاريخية عن إسماعيل صديق باشا والوظائف التي كان يشغلها، ثم موقع القصر ثم تطرقت الدراسة إلى عناصر القصر بما تشمله من وصف للواجهات والتخطيط والعناصر المعمارية التي تشمل النوافذ، والأسقف، والأرضيات، والفرانتونات بالإضافة إلى العناصر الفنية مثل عقود الأزهار والفاكهة والشعارات الرمزية والحشوات الغاطسة، وقد حاولت تأصيل كل عنصر مع ذكر تطوره مستعينًا في ذلك بما أوردته في كتاب قصور الأمراء والباشوات في مدينة القاهرة في القرن التاسع عشر بجزئيه الأول والثاني.
وأرجو أن أكون قد وفقت في إلقاء الضوء على هذا القصر الذي يعد من المنشآت المهمة في القرن التاسع عشر التي جسدت طراز النهضة الفرنسية الجديدة، وبعض عناصر طراز الكلاسيكية المستحدثة.
