يقدم الكتاب وصفاً كاملاً لمدرسة الحوار النبوي، فنجده يقدم إستقراء للأحاديث الصحيحة أو الحسنة في مسألة الحوار؛ لإفادة المسلمين بخاصة، والإنسانية بعامة بالمنهج الأمثل للحوار، من خلال حواراته صلى الله عليه وسلم.
ونجد في الكتاب حوار رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم مع بعض الملائكة: وكيف حاور صلى الله عليه وسلم صحابته رضي الله عنهم: من الرجال، وكذلك النساء عموماً، وزوجاته خصوصاً، والشباب، والأطفال، وكيف حاور رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم المشركين بالحسنى، كما فعل مع ثُمَامَةُ بنُ أُثَال، ورسائله إلى المشركين لبعض القبائل العربية.
أما اليهود فقد شمل حواره صلى الله عليه وسلم كل اليهود الموجودين في عصره تقريباً من يهود المدينة المنورة، وخبير، واليمن، والشام، وكذلك شمل حوار النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم كل النصارى الموجودين في عصره تقريباً من نصارى الشام، واليمن، ومصر، والحبشة، ونجران، وأكثرهم تم حوارهم عن طريق إرسال رسائل لهم تدعوهم للإسلام، وكذلك كان حواره صلى الله عليه وسلم للمجوس.
أما المنافقين فقد لقي النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم منهم ما تشيب منه النواصي، ومع ذلك كان يحاورهم بألطف المحاورة، ويحملهم على ظواهرهم، دون بحث عما تكنه سرائرهم.
