من الحقائق الثابتة أن كل مولود سواء كان ذكرا أم أنثى تسيطر على حياته عند ولادته وطول عمره بعض الكواكب بالنسبة لمركزها في الأفق ساعة ولادته وموضع كل منها بالنسبة للآخر وسرعة حركاتها وانتقالاتها .. ويقول في ذلك (بركليز) الفيلسوف اليوناني القديم ( إن تأثير الكواكب على حياة الإنسان يشبه تأثير الحرارة والضوء عليه فإنه يشعر بها ولا يراها). واول من درس النجوم وحركاتها وعة البابليين ونقله عنهم الأشوريون والمصريون ، وسار إلى الهند والصين وانتشر بين الإغريق والرومان والعرب واشتهر من العرب ( أبو معشر) المتوفي عام 883م ، وهو أول نمن تعلم علم النجوم عن الإغريق وترك فيه كتبا خالدة. وقد نما وتقدم ( علم النجوم ) في خلافة الرشيديين واحتل مكانة بارزة في بغداد واشتهر منهم خلاف ابو معشر ثابت بن قرة. وأطلق لفظ(Astrology ) على علم الكواكب تمييزا عن علم الفلك (Astronomy ) وهذا سلسلة اعرف برجك التى تناقش الأبراج وكل ما يتعلق بها من علوم وخصائص كل برج على حدة.
