هذا هو "المرشد المعين على الضرورى من علوم الدين" كتاب استوحى المؤلف "عبد الواحد احمد بن على بن عاشر" عنوانه مما احتوى عليه، ومما تضمنه بين دفتيه، فقيه ما يعين على معرفة أحكام الدين الأساسية والضرورية لكل مسلم، وفيه إرشاد لما يتعلق بالفروض وأركان الدين، بدءاً بنبذة يسيرة عن العقائد، ثم متابعة الحديث على الصلاة وأحكامها، وكذلك الزكاة والصيام والحج، كذلك تحدث المؤلف فى كتابة الصغير عن مبادئ التصوف وهو ادى التعرف منهياً بها كتابة المرشد المعين، ولكن جدير بالذكر أنه زيد فى نهاية هذه الطبعة ما يجعل الفائدة أكبر لقارئه، وهو ذكر كيفية الوضوء وكيفية الصلاة، كذلك دعاء القنوت وبعض ماورد من الدعاء بعد التشهد الأخير وقبل السلام، ودعاء ختم الصلاة.. وأخيراً أسماء الله الحسنى، وقد قام بتصحيح كل هذا أحد علماء الأزهر وهو السيد "احمد سعد على"
