وكثرت من قبل الباحثين والكتاب والخطباء والمثقفين حول هذا المزار ما بين من ينفي وجوده أصلاً ويعتبره من المزارات الوهمية، مثلما فعل صاحب كتاب معجم المراقد المزيفة في العراق، ومنها ما جعلته من المزارات التي لا يعرف صاحبها من يكون، أو لا تعرف سيرة من دفنت فيها من نساء أهل البيت عليهم السلام، وبين مثبت لهذا المزار بحجة الذاكرة الشفوية، وآلاف الناس التي تشهد جيلاً بعد جيل بنسبة هذا المزار لامرأة شريفة بنت الحسن عليه السلام.
