قد نجد كثير من المؤلفات التى تأخذ على عاتقها تفنيد أكاذيب اليهود وتواراتهم وما أكثرها، وذلك من العلماء المسلمين في الدراسات والأبحاث العديدة التى يقدمونها، ولكن إذا أتى هذا الرد والتفنيد من يهودي يختلف الأمر.. فيشهد شاهد من أهلها بأن ما تحويه أسفارهم وما يرويه أحبارهم بأن ما هو إلا فرية كبرى تريفون بها التاريخ ومن نفس هذا المنطلق يحتل الكتاب الذي بين يدينا أهمية كبرى.. حيث أنه كتاب وضعه العالم الرياضي والطبيب اليهودي الذي أعان اسلامه "السمؤال بن يحي المغربي". ولأنه خبر اللغة العبرية جيدا ووعى علوم التوراة، فقد كان ابنا لواحد من أخبرا اليهود المتمرسين في هذه العلوم ، جاء كتابه فاضحا لأكاذيبهم وداخضا لها بالعقل والمنطق والحجة فيما يتعلق بسيدنا عيسى عليه السلام ومحمد صلى الله عليه وسلم ، وكذلك في قضايا تحريف كتبهم وهو يقسم كتابه إلى جزء اول يحوي سيرة ذاتيه له تتسم بالدقة يروى فيها ملخصا لحياته وقصة إسلاميه، وجزء ثان يشتمل على الدراسة التى تعتمد على الأدلة والبراهين في إفحام اليهود.
