في هذا الكتاب دراسة للأستاذ يوسف محمد مروان سليمان الأوزبكي لتاريخ المذهب الحنبلي في فلسطين، الذي انتشر في ربوعها وبالأخص في شمالها؛ في نابلس وطولكرم وجنين، حيث زاد عدد المدن والقرى التي خرج منها الحنابلة على الأربعين.
وقد بينت هذه الدراسة الدور العلمي والحضاري الذي قام به علماء الحنابلة من أهل فلسطين، بعد أن عرّفت بهؤلاء العلماء وبالمدن والقرى التي خرّجتهم، وبالكتب الفقهية والأصولية التي ألّفوها.
وقد سلك الباحث في دراسته هذه منهجاً علميّاً استقرأ من خلاله الكتب طبقات الحنابلة، واستخرج أسماء علماء الحنابلة من أهل فلسطين، وترجم لكل من له كتب في الفقه والأصول، موثقاً تلك الترجمة من كتب تراجم الحنابلة الأصلية غالباً، كما عرّف بالكتب الفقهية والأصولية وما يُلحق بها ككتب أحاديث الأحكام والآداب، مع بيان أهمية كل كتاب ومنهجه وما لحقه من أعمال.
والجدير ذكره أن هذا الكتاب هو بالأصل دراسة جامعية لنيل درجة الماجستير في الفقه والتشريع وأصوله من جامعة القدس؛ وقد نوقشت هذه الرسالة سنة 2009م، وتعد إنتاجاً علميّاً قيماً، تسهم في حفظ التراث والتاريخ، وتبيّن أن بركة فلسطين لا تقتصر على وجود المسجد الأقصى وسكن الأنبياء فيها، بل من بركتها - أيضاً - وجود ورثة الأنبياء من العلماء.
