ويتضمن هذا الكتاب تسعة فصول، يتناول الفصل الأول المتغيرات البيئية المختلفة، ويتناول الفصل الثاني طبيعة البيئة التنافسية، في حين تناول الفصل الثالث الأنظمة الإقتصادية المختلفة، أما الفصل الرابع فيوضح البيئة التكنولوجية، في حين يعالج الفصل الخامس البيئة الإجتماعية وجوانبها الديناميكية المختلفة، ويتناول الفصل السادس البيئة الأخلاقية والقضايا البيئية والتلوث... إلخ.
في حين يذهب الفصل السابع إلى القضايا السياسية بأبعادها المختلفة، ويعالج الفصل الثامن العولمة وتداعياتها، أما الفصل الأخير فيعالج التحديات والتغيرات المطلوبة في ظل العولمة.
