والهدف الأساسي من هذا الكتاب هو تقديم الفكر الاقتصادي الاسلامي في النقود، وذلك بابراز المفاهيم والمبادئ الخاصة بالنقود والنظام النقدي في أسلوب علمي معاصر، بحيث يقترب من ذهن المتخصص في هذا المجال.
وسوف نلتزم بقدر الاستطاعة على أن يكون مدخلنا في عرض وتحليل آراء الفقهاء تاريخياً، مع ترتيب المراجع ترتيبا زمنياً، استكمالا لصورة التكوين الفكري حسب اختلاف العصور والنشاط الاقتصادى.
