تُطلق نرجس الحلبي في هذه المجموعة من أشعارها سراح الأحاسيس لتطير كفراشات ملوّنة تتنقل بين أزهار المعاني والمشاعر. لكن الأحاسيس، المندرجة والمتداخلة في أحاسيس ومشاعر أخرى أعمق وأعقد، لا تأخذ دوماً شكل فراشات رقيقة، بل قد تتحوّل أحياناً إلى زرافات وغزلان وأيائل تعدو بجنون فتحطم في طريقها ما قد نعتبره جميلاً وثميناً، وربّما مقدّساً.
هذه هي المجموعة الشعرية الأولى لنرجس الحلبي، والتي تتلمّــس فيـها طريقــــها الشعـري بـاجتــــهاد يبشّر بصوتٍ واعد سيكون له شأن في قادم الأيام.
من قصيدة «حُبٌّ من صَمْت»:
عاطفةٌ تجرُّ يدَ عاصفةٍ
خيطُ نورٍ في جُنح ظلام
سلامٌ يُشعل حَربهُ في العروق
يقتلني بكلِّ لطفٍ وتأنٍّ.
لن أشيَ بكَ إلّا لحرُوفي،
صديقتي عندَ اشتدادِ ظُروفي
يحرقني حُبُّك ويُجمّدُ أَوصَالي،
يُحَوِّل مِياهي
إلى حديقةٍ من غيوم.
