تقرر شرعاً بالبراهين أن علم التجويد من أهم العلوم وأشرفها، لتعلقه بالقرآن الكريم، وذلك بضبط حروفه وألفاظه من التغيير والتبديل، لأنه يؤدي إلى التحريف.
فبتبديل حروف القرآن تتغير معانيه، لأن القرآن الكريم إحكام وأحكام، فالإحكام يكون من خلال تعلم التجويد وضبط المخارج، ثم بعد ذلك نستطيع أن نأخذ الأحكام التي هي معرفة الأوامر والنواهي وغير ذلك مما هو مقرر في كتاب الله تعالى.
فإذاً يكون تعلم التجويد واجباً عاماً على الكفاية على الأمة، أو خاصاً على كل من يريد أن يقرأ القرآن أو شيئاً منه فيكون فرض عين.
فعلى كلا الأمرين تعلم التجويد واجب على الكفاية وعلى العين، وذلك صوناً لكتاب الله عز وجل من العجمة التي دخلت على ألألسن عامة، فهي أعجمية النطق ولو كانت عربية الأصل واللغة.
لذلك حرص الأئمة من القراء في كل زمان على الكتابة والتأليف في علم التجويد وأحكامه حرصاً على ضبط القرآن وإتقانه.
ثم لما قل الضبط وقلب العناية بتعلم التجويد، حتى إن بعض من كتب بالتجويد أشار أن لا ضرورة شرعية له.
وقد رأى وسمع ذلك "أسامة حجازي كيلاني"، فأخذت منه الغيرة على كتاب الله عز وجل مأخذها، فتصدى لهؤلاء ليثبت لهم خلاف ما فهموا واعتقدوا.. فألف هذا الكتاب، وجمع فيه من الأدلة ما تثبت أن تعلم التجويد واجب شرعي، وأن ترك تعلمه هو البدعة المنكرة، وسيتضح ذلك حال إطلاع القارئ الكريم عليه.
كما سيعلم القارئ أن هذا الكتاب ليس بكتاب تجويد ولا تعلق له بأحكامه، وإنما هو لإثبات وجوب علم التجويد، أما من أراد تعلم التجويد فإنه قد كتب المقرؤون عدداً كبيراً من الكتب في ذلك، والاقتصار والاختصار أولى.
