أبو عبد الرحمن أحمد بن شعيب بن علي بن سنان بن بحر بن دينار النسائي (215 هـ - 303 هـ)، (829م - 915م) محدّث، وقاضٍ، وأحد أئمة الحديث النبوي الشريف، صاحب السنن الصغرى والكبرى، المعروف بسنن النسائي، ولد سنة 215 هـ في بلدة نسا من بلاد خراسان قديمًا وتقع في تركمانستان حاليًا، وطلب العلم والحديث وهو صغير، فرحل إلى خراسان والحجاز والعراق والشام والجزيرة العربية ثم استوطن مصر، ورحل الحفاظ إليه، خرج إلى دمشق فوجد المنحرف بها عن علي بن أبي طالب كثير، فألف كتاب "الخصائص" في خصائص علي فأُوذِي بسبب ذلك، وتوفي في سنة ثلاث وثلاثمائة، له العديد من المصنفات أشهرها السنن، وصنف أيضًا في الضعفاء والمتروكين، وفضائل الصحابة، وله كتاب في التفسير.

عن عبد اللَّـه بن مغفل المزني - رضي اللَّـه عنـه - قال: قال رسـول اللَّـه صلي الله عليه وسلم (( اللَّـه اللَّـه في أصحابي ، لا تتخذوهم غرضًًا بعدي ، فمن أحبهم فبحبي أحبهم ومن أبغضهم فببغضي أبغضهم ، ومن آذاهم فقد آذاني ومن آذاني فقد آذى اللَّـه عز وجل ، ومن آذى اللَّـه يوشك أن يأخذه )). ولا خفاء على من كان له قلب أو ألقى السمع وهو شهيد أن من تبوأ الدار والإيمان من المهاجرين والأنصار السابقين إلى الإسلام والتابعين لهم بإحسان ، الذين شهدوا الرسول صلي الله عليه وسلم وسمعوا كلامه وشاهدوا أحواله ، ونقلوا ذلك إلى من بعدهم من الرجال والنساء - من الأحرار والعبيد والإمـاء - أولى بالحفظ والتزكية ، وهم الذين آمنوا ولم يلبسوا إيمانهم بظلم أولئك لهم الأمن وهم مهتدون بتزكية اللَّـه سبحانه وتعالى لهم ، وثنائه عليهم ؛ فإذا جهلهم الإنسان كان بغيرهم أشد جهلًا ، وأعظم إنكارًا ، فينبغي أن يعرفوا بأنسابهم وأحوالهم وعظمتهم ورفعتهم . وقد أثنى اللَّـه عز وجل عليهم ورضي عنهم رسول اللَّـه ولا أعدل ممن ارتضاه اللَّـه لصحبة نبيه ونصرته ، ولا تزكية أفضل من ذلك ولا تعديل أكمل منه ؛ إنهم جيل نصر وثُلَّةُ خير وأئمة دعوة ، وفي هذا يقول النبي صلي الله عليه وسلم :(( خير القرون قرني ، ثم الذين يلونهم...)) وبهذا فهم لا يحتاجون بعد شهادة اللَّـه ورسوله لهم بالفضل والخيرية إلى تزكية بشر .
