لوحظ في السنوات الأخيرة، انتشار الكثير من العادات والتقاليد والممارسات و"الأعياد" والمناسبات الغريبة عن ديننا ومجتمعاتنا وتاريخنا وتقاليدنا... وهدي النبي المصطفى وآله الكرام والسلف الصالح، ويقول المؤلف أن هذه العادات ليست إلا نتيجة لوسوسة الشيطان للإنسان، فهو الذي يوسوس له في الطهارة وعروض النجاسة فترى بعضهم يتطهرون من غير سبب!! وترى آخرين يغسلون ويغسلون ثم يغسلون!! ومنهم من يفر ممن يريد ملامسته أو تقبيله بعد وضوئه!!
كما إنه يوسوس لهم للاحتفال بأعياد لا تمت للإسلام بصلة، كعيد الميلاد وعيد رأس السنة، وللقيام ببعض الشعائر المكروهة، عن هذه الأمور وغيرها كثير يتحدث السيد "سامي خضرة" في هذا الكتاب مبيناً أوجه وسوسة الشيطان للإنسان والأساليب التي يستخدمها لإبعاد الإنسان عن الإسلام، وتوقف بعد ذلك عند عدد من الوسوسات التي يمارسها الشيطان للإنسان مبيناً خطرها ومحللاً أهدافها وتوجهاتها وذلك على ضوء القرآن الكريم والحديث النبوية الشريف، وأقوال أهل البيت الكرام.
ومما يتعرض له في هذا المضمار نذكر: وسوسة الشيطان لمن سموا "بالمسؤولين" في مؤسسات المسلمين، وسوسة الشيطان لترك إقامة الحدود الإلهية، وسوسة الشيطان بوعد الناس بالسلام المكذوب والأمن الموهوم، وسوسة الشيطان للأزواج، وسوسة الشيطان في مآدب شهر رمضان، وسوسة الشيطان للنساء في اللباس، وسوسة الشيطان في السكون عن بيع الخمور والترويج للمنكر في المجتمع ووسائل الإعلام، وسوسة الشيطان في الوضوء والصلاة، وتأدية شعائر حج بيت الله الحرام، وسوسة الشيطان فيما يسمى بعيد (السان فالنتاين) أو بعيد الكذب أو بعيد الميلاد...
