هذا الكتاب يُسلّط الضوءَ في فصوله الماتعة على قضية وهي أنّ كتابة بعض الكلمات على غير هيئاتها المعهودة لدى الناس كان أمراً مقصوداً لحكمة بالغة. ويستدلُّ على ذلك بأنَّ تغيير الهيئة بالزيادة أو بالنقص، أو بشكل الحرف، أو بالوصل أو بالفصل، يهدف إلى الإشارة إلى معنى ما على وجه الخصوص، وهذا المعنى المخبوء وراء الهيئة هو مظهرٌ من مظاهر الإعجاز، ووجهٌ مُنيرٌ من وجوه النص القرآنيّ في دلالاته المختلفة، مع بيانِ أن تغيُّر هيئات رسم الحروف وصورها يجعل دلالات الرّسم غير مطّردة المعاني؛ لأن لكل آية كريمة سياقها الخاص بها.
