-يحيط هذا الكتاب بموضوع القانون وأنواعه وماهيته ومصادره وكيفية تطبيقه وتفسيره، كذلك يبحث في مسألة الحق وتقسيماته وأنواعه وأركانه ومصادره.
"فالقانون هو الذي تجري وفقاً له علاقات الأشخاص في المجتمع، أو هو مجموعة القواعد الملزمة التي تنظم سلوك الأشخاص وعلاقاتهم في المجتمع. والقانون إذ ينظم علاقات الأشخاص في المجتمع، يرسم حدود نشاط كل منهم، ويرتب مصالحهم ويبين ما يعتبر منها جديراً برعاية وما لا يعتبر كذلك وهو متى أقر مصلحة معينة لشخص ما، خوله سلطة القيام ببعض أعماق يحقق بها تلك المصلحة في حدود معينة، ونهى غيره من الناس عن أن يمس بها أو يتعرض له في تحقيقها. فينشأ بذلك مركز قانوني ينفرد به صاحب تلك المصلحة المرعية دون غيره، ويقابله قيود تفرض على سائر الأشخاص، فهذه المراكز الممتازة التي تنشأ نتيجة تنظيم القانون لعلاقات الأشخاص، وتلك السلطة المخولة أصحاب المصالح التي يحميها القانون هي "الحقوق". فالحق يمكن تعريفه بأنه سلطة تخول صاحبها القيام بأعمال معينة تحقيقاً لمصلحة له يحميها القانون".
-من هنا جاءت أهمية البحث في هذا الموضوع، بإعتبار القانون والحق مفهومان متلازمان، ولا وجود لأحدهما من دون الآخر، فالحق لا يوجد ولا يحترم إلا في ظل القانون، والقانون لا وجود له إلا لتقرير الحق وحمايته ورسم حدوده وفرض ضماناته.
يقسم الباحث دراسته إلى جزئين رئيسيين على الشكل التالي:
الجزء الأول: في القانون - أنواعه - ماهيته - مصادره - كيفية تطبيقه وتفسيره.
الجزء الثاني: يبحث في مسألة الحق وتقسيماته وأنواعه وأركانه ومصادره.
-هذا الكتاب ذو أهمية بالغة لطلاب الجامعات المبتدئين والمشتغلين في الحق القانوني بما يحتويه من قواعد أساسية تفسر القانون بفروعه المختلفة، وأحكامه، وكيفية تطبيقه بهدف إحلال العدل والسلم بين الناس في المجتمع الواحد.
