التكرار ظاهرة بارزة في البيان القرآني المعجز، ومظهر من مظاهر إعجاز القرآن وهو إعادة عرض بعض الآيات أو الألفاظ أو المعاني أو الموضوعات ولكن هذا التكرار حكيم ومقصود فعندما يكرر القرآن ذلك يكرره لحكمة يريد منها تحقيق هدف ديني أو بلاغي وأهم ما يؤديه التكرار من الناحية الدينية هو تقرير المكرر وتوكيده وإظهار العناية به ليكون في السلوك أمثل وللاعتقاد أبين.
والكتاب الذي بين أيدينا هو الأول من حيث موضوعه في المكتبة الإسلامية ويتضمن حصراً للآيات التي وردت في القرآن الكريم أكثر من مرة بنصها أو ضمن آيات أخرى، وعددها يزيد عن ستمائة آية أي حوالي 10% من آيات القرآن الكريم وقد ذكرت على حسب ترتيبها في المصحف.
