حين شرعت أكتب هذه الرواية أردت أن تكون مختلفة كيف لي ، وأنا الذي أعشق التشويق ، أن أشد القارئ إلى قصة يعرف أحداثها ؟ وجدت أن الرهان يمكن كسبه بـأن أعتني بشكل مبالغ فيه بتقنيات السرد والحوار وبأن أسوق أحداثاً بطريقة متداخلة تختلف عن الطريقة القرآنية . فكتاب الله كتاب تشريع لا يورد القصص إلا لترسيخ مقاصده في حين أني كتبت رواية ليعيش القارىء مع ابطالها وأوضحت في المقدمة أن هذا عمل روائي أضفت عليه أحداثاً للضرورة الدرامية بما لا ينافي العقيدة . هذه النيّة وهذا القصد ، والله ولي التوفيق .
