وعشقه للأدب لم ينطفئ فكانت أولى محاولاته مجموعته القصصية (نظرات دمية) و التي كان الفضل في ظهورها بعد الله للأستاذ محمد سامي مدير دار ليلى الذى شجعه على طباعتها

وهناك المآسي والمصائب التي لم يعان منها شعب مثل هذا الشعب المسكين الصبور وقد مرت على مصر أيام حلوة وأيام مرة مرارتها تملأ القلب بالأسى والعين بالدموع وأيام لها إعصار وأيام بنت فيها المعبد والمسجد والكنيسة ونقشت الحجر فجعلت الأحجار تنطق وقد بنت مصر فعبدت الواحد قبل أن يأتى موسى.. ونادي إخناتون بالوحدانية مصر الفرعونية عبدت ووحدت ونادت بالعدالة ونصبت الميزان وعرفت الثواب والعقاب وآمنت بالبعث وعودة الروح..
ارتبطت الأديان السماوية بمصر, فخرج من مصر وأرضها الطاهرة موسى كليم الله وآمنت مصر بالمسيحية وأدخلت فيها كثيرا من رموزها ومضامينها ويم الشهداء الذى خضب بالدم كنيستها فلم تتراجع عن إيمانها بل ازداد إيمانها بنفسها.
