الصعيد جعل المرأة غزلاً محبوس في محمية دجاج صمتت لأنني أعلم أنها علي حق. ثم قالت: وللأسف حين يضعوننا في سياجات حديدية نحفر تحت الحديد نفقاً ليخرجنا خارج تلك الأسوجة فمنا من تنوه وتنعمق في الحفر وتضل طريقها وتموت في النفق. ومنا من تنجح في الحفر وتخرج إلي الجانب الأخر من السياج تنفض غبار التراب وتشرد تاركة كل شئ خلفها ولا ترجع. ومنا من تقبل العيش في تلك الأسوجة وتموت قهراً. حينها تيقنت من مشكلة تلك الفتاة قطعت حديثها والدموع تملأ عيناها ونظرت حولي قائلاً: بكائك لفت أنظار الجميع. هل علينا أن نخرج من المقهي لنتحدث سوياً؟ هل لي الحق أن أعرف ماهي مشكلتك أم أنه ليس حقي؟ نظرت إلي ودموعها تملأ عيناها الجميلاتان اللاتي يكحلهما السهر والأرق والقلق قائلة: أحتاج لأحد غريب عني لأبث له شكواي وهمي, وحمدت الله لمطلبها هذا فأنا تمنيت كثيراً أن أجلس.
