نص رحلو باخخ ولربما يشكل العطافة مهمة في سرود السفر في المغرب المعاصر، "أنْفاس الجُغْرافيا"، هو نوستالجيا الأعالي في جنوب الروح وجنونها بالمكان في رهبة ونشوة تبلغان حدّ الإنخطاف، كتابة تغمر قارئها بشلال فيوضات شعورية، شاعرية باذخة، حتى لتضيق بك كل الأمكنة مهما كانت شساعتها، وتتساوى في عينيك جغرافيتها التي تبتذلها الالفة وتضيق بها العبارة ويتبلّد معناها، غير أن العين المتذهلة المُتْرعة بالحنين والمغامرة في سيميائيات الأمكنة والناس تشعر بما لا يشعر به العابر في مكان عابر.
النصوص مجْلى للبصير والمتبصر، الحليم والحالم، تلك عين محمد أشويكة التي تعبق من رحلته – يومياته تستعيد الطباعات عميقة الغور من رحلاته في نواحي المغرب: (تحناوت، زاكورة، الداخلة، مراكش، أولاد حمزة)، وخارجية: (وهران، طرابلس، مصر...)، جغرافيات المكان بسهولة وجباله وهضابه وبحره ونهره وواحيه وصحرائه، بشوارعه وحروبه وسينمائه، مقدّسه ومدنّسه.
إنه لا يصدر عن حُكم قبْلو ينساق وراء نزق الجاهز، بل يباغت المكان حين يباغته المكان، يراه ويتمرلى فيه، يرتاده ويراوده، لا شيء يقف أمام غمرة المعنى وهو يندلح من شعرية اللحظة البارقة التي لا يستطيع الإمساك بها إلا من سحرته بلاغة الحرف في المكان.
وقد نوهت جائزة ابن بطوطة بهذه اليوميات ولدرجتها في عداد منشوراتها.
