وقد آثرنا أن نصحب القارئ أولا فى رحلة عن الحب حول العالم منذ أن قتل قابيل أخيه هابيل من أجل الحب الذى بسببه تحولت أمة ورجال عن عقائدهم، وتنازل آخرون عن عروشهم ولانت قلوب حكام قساة فى سبيله، وتغير مسار التاريخ من أجله, إنه الحب ذلك السلطان القاهر لوحوش الإنس والغابة، فلم يفلت من أسره حاكم متسلط، أو نبى مرسل، فهو داء و دواء، إصلاح وشقاء، ولا يمكن أن يكبح جماحه مخلوق، فالحب قصة بدأت بميلاد البشرية ولم تنته فصولها بعد.
