Michela Marzano (Roma, 20 agosto 1970) è una filosofa, accademica, politica e saggista italiana.
Ha studiato all'Università di Pisa e alla Scuola normale superiore. Dopo aver conseguito il perfezionamento in filosofia alla Scuola Normale Superiore di Pisa ed in Bioetica alla Università degli Studi di Roma - La Sapienza è diventata docente all'Università di Paris V - René Descartes, dove insegna tut Michela Marzano (Roma, 20 agosto 1970) è una filosofa, accademica, politica e saggista italiana.
Ha studiato all'Università di Pisa e alla Scuola normale superiore. Dopo aver conseguito il perfezionamento in filosofia alla Scuola Normale Superiore di Pisa ed in Bioetica alla Università degli Studi di Roma - La Sapienza è diventata docente all'Università di Paris V - René Descartes, dove insegna tuttora.
Ha diretto il Dipartimento di scienze sociali della Sorbona, prima di diventare deputata per il Partito Democratico. Autrice di numerosi saggi e articoli di filosofia morale e politica, ha curato il Dictionnaire du corps (PUF, 2007).
Si occupa di filosofia morale e politica e, in particolar modo, del posto che occupa al giorno d'oggi l'essere umano, in quanto essere carnale. L'analisi della fragilità della condizione umana rappresenta il punto di partenza delle sue ricerche e delle sue riflessioni filosofiche.
Nel 2014 vince il premio letterario Bancarella con il volume L'a è tutto. È tutto ciò che so dell'a edito da UTET

Les philosophes ont souvent préféré méditer sur l’âme et ses passions, faire des enquêtes sur l’entendement humain, ou encore critique l raison pure, plutôt que se pencher sur la réalité du corps et sur la finitude de la condition humaine.
Pourtant, même si le corps a souvent été considéré comme un fardeau entravant la connaissance et la vertu, aucune philosophie n’a jamais pu faire l’économie de sa présence.
C’est dans et avec son corps que chacun de nous naît, vit, meurt: ‘cest dans et par son corps qu’on s’inscrit dans le monde et qu’on rencontre autrui.
Cet ouvrage analyse les paradoxes de notre rapport au corps et la manière don chaque époque invite à le repenser.
