كثرت الشروح لمتن الآجرومية التى صنفها الإمام "ابن آجروم"، ولكنها خلت من بيان المعانى وإعراب الكلمات، وهو ماحدا بالشيخ "حسن الكفراوى" أن يضع لها شرحاً يتضمن بياناً للمعانى وإعراباً للكلمات، وقد جاء فيه أبواب الإعراب ومعرفة علامات الإعراب، باب الأفعال ومرفوعات الأسماء، الفاعل والمفعول والمبتدأ والخبر بأنواعهم، باب العوامل الداخلة عليهما وباب العطف والتوكيد والبدل ومنصوبات الأسماء والمصدر والحال والتمييز والاستثناء والمنادى وباب مخفوضات الأسماء، كل هذا جاء بشرحاً وافياً وأمثلة عليه، وقد جاور شرح "الكفراوى" حاشية العلامة الشيخ "اسماعيل الحامدى"، فهى فى هامش الكتاب تزيد الوضوح وتزيل الغموض.
