ونظراً للدور المهم الذى تلعبه الأنشطة الإثرائية فى خدمة العملية التعليمية وتنمية أهداف تدريس العلوم بوجه عام وهدف التفكير الناقد بوجه خاص، ونظراً لغياب وندرة الدراسات العربية التى تسعى إلى إستخدام الأنشطة الإثرائية فى تطوير مكونات التفكير الناقد لدى التلميذ المتفوق فى درس العلوم، كان لزاماً على الخبراء والباحثين فى مجال التربية والتعليم إجراء الدراسات التى تهدف إلى التوظيف الفعال للأنشطة الإثرائية فى تنمية مهارات التفكير الناقد لدى التلميذ المتفوق. لذا فإن هذا البحث يهدف استخدام الأنشطة الإثرائية فى تدريس وحدة المغناطيسية والكهربية على تنمية التحصيل العلمى ومهارات التفكير الناقد لدى التلاميذ المتفوقين بالصف الخامس الإبتدائى.
