أمّا الآنَ؛ وفي السياقِ الذي أنا فيه، لا أتجاوزُهُ ولا أعمّمُ، فإنَّ ما ينبثُّ في درسِ هؤلاءِ الروّادِ، أو رائدِهم الأوّلِ؛ إنْ في وصفِ العربيّةِ العتيقةِ ودرسِ مصادرِها ولهجاتِها، وإنْ في تقويمِ النظريّةِ النحويّةِ في أصولِها ومؤسِّساتِها ونتائجِها- لا علاقةَ له بحديثِ العلمِ اللغويِّ ولا بقديمِهِ، وليسَ يُمكنُ أنْ يُراجعَ في ذاتِهِ. وإنّما هو مبعثراتٌ مستنسخةٌ، ينبغي أنْ تعادَ إلى موطنِ تصنيعِها وسياقاتِ افترائِها واختلاقِ مسوّغاتِها في درسِ المستشرقين. وقد كانَ ذلك كلُّهُ في سياقٍ واحدٍ ذي تشعُّبٍ؛ عُنيَ بتثبيتِ مقولةِ الِازدواجِ وصفًا لصورةِ العربيّةِ العتيقةِ.
