يجب أن يعلم العالم العربي، بأن التجارة الإلكترونية لن تكون فقط ضمن جهاز الكمبيوتر ولكنه في غضون سنين سيكون التلفاز الرقمي والجيل الثالث من الأجهزة النقالة- الهاتف المحمول- ستكون قنوات فعالة لإنتشار إستخدام الإنترنت مما يعني قفزة كبيرة في أعداد المستخدمين وحجم التجارة الإلكترونية ويجب أن ننص أيضاً أن الكثير من الشركات الأجنبية موجودة على الأرض الآن ولكنها جعلت أدواتها التسويقية والخدمية وإتصالاتها الرئيسية عبر الإنترنت، فنحن لا نطالب بإلغاء الشركات الموجودة، فوجودها مهم ولكن يجب حثها على أن تجعل التجارة الإلكترونية قاعدة أساسية استراتيجية لتجارتها المحلية والعالمية والمستقبلية سيما وأن ناتج التجارة الإلكترونية العالمية سيصل إلى 13 تريليون دولار مع نهاية 2012 وبمشاركة 850 مليون شخص حول العالم فهل سيكون للتجارة العربية نصيباً من التجارة الإلكترونية؟
