يحمل الفصل الأول منها "التعريف بالمشروعات الصغيرة وخصائصها ودورة حياتها ودورها في التنمية الاقتصادية"، أما الفصل الثاني فيستعرض المشاكل التمويلية وغير التمويلية التي تواجه المشروعات الصغيرة والمخاطر التي تواجهها، أما الفصل الثالث فيلقي الضوء على دراسات الجدوى الاقتصادية كأساس للجدارة التمويلية للمشروعات الصغيرة، أما الفصل الرابع فيمثل إطلالة على الإطار العام لتمويل المشروعات الصغيرة، ويحدد الفصل الخامس دور البنوك في تمويل المشروعات الصغيرة، أما الفصل السادس فيحلل أنواع القروض الممنوحة للمشروعات الصغيرة ويأتي الفصل السابع ليكشف النقاب عن الضمانات المقدمة من قبل المشروعات الصغيرة وشركة ضمان مخاطر الائتمان المصرفي للمشروعات الصغيرة ويبحث الفصل الثامن ظاهرة تعثر قروض المشروعات الصغيرة وأسبابها وكيفية إدارتها، أما الفصل التاسع فيتناول مراحل معالجة تعثر المشروعات الصغيرة، أما الفصل العاشر فيمثل محاولة للتعرف على بورصة تمويل المشروعات الصغيرة والمتوسطة بكل جوانبها.
