روبير فوريسون (بالفرنسية: Robert Faurisson ) من مواليد (25 يناير 1929) في شيبرتون بمقاطعة سري الإنجليزية. هو أكاديمي فرنسي كان أستاذا للأدب الفرنسي بجامعة ليون بين سنتي 1973 و1990.
عرف فوريسون كواحد من أبرز منكري الهولوكوست وأثار الكثير من الجدل بمقالاته التي نشرها في مجلة المراجعة التاريخية وغيرها من المطبوعات، وكذلك بالخطابات العديدة التي أرسلها إلى الصحف الفرنسية (وخاصة صحيفة لوموند) منكراً فيها جوانب مختلفة من أحداث الهولوكوست، من بينها إنكار وجود ما سمي بغرف الغاز في معسكرات الاعتقال النازية، وإنكار القتل المنهجي لليهود الأوروبيين أثناء الحرب العالمية الثانية، وإنكار كتاب يوميات فتاة صغيرة المنسوب إلى آنا فرانك، وصحة شهادات إيلي فيزيل عن معاناته زمن الحرب.
وبعد إقرار البرلمان الفرنسي لقانون غيسو سنة 1990 تعرض فوريسون للمحاكمة وحكم عليه بالغرامة، ثم طرد سنة 1991 من منصبه الأكاديمي.

يَضمُّ هذا الكتاب مجموعةً مِن أهمّ الدراسات والأبحاث والمقالات، التي كتبها البروفيسور روبير فوريسون Robert Faurisson، ومنها المدخل الذي يُقدّم فيه مدرسة "المراجَعَة التاريخيَّة"، ويُلقي أضواءً شاملةً عليها. كاشفًا للقارئ للمرة الأولى منذ نهاية الحرب العالميَّة الثانية عن تفاصيل دقيقةٍ، حول ما يعتبره الأكذُوبة الأكبر في عصرنا وهي أُكذُوبة "غُرَف الغَاز" النازيَّة، وهو المجال الذي تفرغ فوريسون لدراسته منذ أواخر سبعينيَّات القرن الماضي.
إنَّ مُعظَم؛ إنْ لم تكنْ كلّ كُتب وكتابات روبير فوريسون ممنوعة في فرنسا، ومحظورًا تداولها في مُعظَم الدول الأوروبيَّة (الديموقراطيَّة)، طِبْقًا للقوانين المقيّدة لحُرّيَّة البحث والتفكير في موضوعٍ واحدٍ فقط، يتعلق بجماعةٍ بشريَّةٍ صغيرة العدَد نسبيًّا في العَالَم كلّه، هي الجماعة اليهوديَّة. والموضوع المقصود هو موضوع "الهُولُوكُوسْت"، أو الإبادة الجماعيَّة المزعومة التي تعرَّض لها اليهود، إبَّان الحِقْبة النازيَّة في ألمانيا قبْل أكثر مِن نصف قرْن. وهُو "حدَثٌ" نَجحتْ الجماعات والمنظَّمات اليهوديَّة في العالم في جَعله الحدَث الأكثر أهميَّةً في القرن العشرين، بَل ومِن المتوقع أنْ يَمتدَّ تأثيره لفترةٍ طويلةٍ في القرن الحالِي أيضًا.
