Book Description
ربما يكون هذا الكتاب من الكتب القليلة، التي تُعنى بالتعريف بجمهرة كبيرة من المصادر والمراجع، في مختلف الفنون، ومؤلف هذا الكتاب هو الأستاذ عبد الوهاب الصابوني، ولد في حلب سنة 1912م وتوفي سنة 1986م.
عُرف عنه حبّه للقراءة وإقتناء الكتب في مختلف العلوم والفنون والموضوعات وكان شاعراً وأديباً وله مؤلفات في علم النحو وعلم النفس، وفوائد وطرائف نافعة، في موضوعات متنوعة.
والكتاب في مضمونه هو توثيق لما اشتملت عليه مكتبته الخاصة والتي أُوصى بنقلها بعد وفاته إلى كلية الآداب في حلب سنة 1977م، وفيها نحواً من (1300) كتاباً تقع في أكثر من (2000) مجلد.
و"عيون المؤلفات" يعد من أهم الكتب التي ألفها "عبد الوهاب الصابوني" على ما يذكر محقق الكتاب الأستاذ محمود فاخوري، وقد عرّف فيه مؤلفه بكل ما تضمه مكتبته من مؤلفات.
وكان قد قام بإعداده حتى إنتهى منه عام 1970م حتى اكتمل لديه في ثلاثة أجزاء، كل جزء مرقم في دفتر على حدة، وهو في مجموعهِ يشتمل على اثنين وثلاثين باباً من أبواب المعرفة وهي: 1-الجزء الأول: يشتمل على (كتب ورجال، تراجم، تراجم الفلاسفة والأطباء والعلماء، التراجم الخاصة، الشعراء، النحاة، أندلسيات... وغيرها، 2-الجزء الثاني: يشتمل على (اللغة، الحكم والأمثال، المعرب، الموسوعات والمجاميع، الأدب، تاريخ الأدب، التاريخ، الإجتماعيات، الجغرافيا، الفلسفة)، 3-الجزء الثالث: ويضم (تاريخ الفلسفة، التصوف، العلوم وتاريخ العلوم، الطب والأمراض، الكتب المقدسة)، واستبعد المؤلف من كتابه هذا دواوين الشعراء، لأنه وضع فيها كتاباً خاصاً عنوانه "شعراء ودواوين".
وعلى هذا، يكون المؤلف - في كتابه هذا - اتجه إلى وضع مسارد لأمهات الكتب والمصادر في تراث الشرق والغرب، التي حوتها خزانته، يفيد منها كل باحث ودارس يريد الوقوف على مجال معين من علوم مختلفة.
