الكتابة بما هي أسئلة وهواجس وأحلام وطموح، شكلت تجربة الكاتب سعود البلوي، يطرحها للنقاش في كتابه المعنون "الكتابة والحفر في الذاكرة" في محاولة لتجسير الفجوة الإبداعية بين المبدع والمتلقي.
في المقدمة التي يفتتح بها الكاتب عمله يقول: "في هذا الكتاب، بعض من تفاصيل الذاكرة في عالم الكتابة، أقدمه اليوم معتمداً على "الكتابة الثانية" مستلهماً كل اللحظات العابرة، ومتذكراً المكان والزمان اللذين عايشت فيهما حالة الكتابة الأولى؛ ليعيش معي من يرغب، حكايات الحَفر في الذاكرة" ومن هذا المفتتح النصي ينطلق الكاتب ليسلط الضوء على تجربة الكتابة لعدد من الكتّاب والمبدعين الأجانب والعرب فبالنسبة إلى نيتشه "إن الكتاب بالنسبة إليّ حاجة؛ لأني لم أجد بعد وسيلة أخرى للتخلص من أفكاري" يخالفه في هذا الرأي الأديب النمساوي "ستيفان زفايغ" فيقول: "الكتابة أشبه بحالة قتل!" وربما كان يقصد أن الكتابة الإبداعية حالة خاصة لقتل الأفكار بهدف إخراجها من الذهن إلى الواقع لتخليدها، لتكون رسالة في إطار الشراكة الإنسانية بين الكاتب والمتلقي الذي يحاول أن يحييها. والكتابة بالنسبة إلى "ثيودور أدورنو" تعني "بالنسبة إلى الإنسان الذي لم يعد لديه وطن، تصبح الكتابة مكاناً له ليعيش فيه" ما يعني بالكتابة يكون الوجود جميلاً، يستعيد الكاتب من خلالها ألقه ونشاطه أي أنها حالة يعيشها في العالم الجديد أو الوطن البديل ولجأ إليها كنوع من التكيف مع الظروف الجديدة ... وهكذا يستمر الحفر في الذاكرة ليستعيد حالات خاصة عاشها الكتّاب وعبروا فيها عن تجربة الكتابة مع تحليل منمق وعميق وجميل من الكاتب سعود البلوي ، يحضر فيها الكاتب "أرنست هيمنغواي" و "رسول حمزانوف" / الشاعر الداغستاني، و "غابرييل غارسيا ماركيز" و "نيكوس كزانتزاكيس" و "عبد الرحمن منيف" ( ...) وآخرون.
