أصبح من الضروري بعد إدخال العديد من التعديلات والإضافات على الكود المصري لتصميم وتنفيذ المنشآت الخرسانية وإصدار الكود الجديد بالقرار الوزاري رقم (98) لسنة 2001 عمل التعديلات المناسبة على محتويات الكتاب. والآن أصبح الكتاب في صورته الجديدة يتكون من ثلاثة أجزاء كما يلي: الجزء الأول STRUCTURAL ANALYSIS وهو يحتوي على ثمانية فصول تشمل معظم محتويات الكتاب القديم مع إدخال بعض التعديلات والإضافات عليها مثل نظرية الشروخ، الجزء الثاني CODE TEXT ويحتوي على ملخص نص الكود الجديد لأبواب التصميم (الثالث- الرابع- الخامس- السادس) وإضافة الباب العاشر الخاص بالخرسانة سابقة الإجهاد مع مراعاة التركيز على النقاط الهامة وإظهارها في صورة جداول ومنحنيات تسهل على المهندس المصمم سرعة الرجوع إليها كما تم تعديل الوحدات من النظام المتري إلى النظام الدولي، الجزء الثالث DESIGN AIDS يحتوي على شرح معادلات تصميم القطاعات المعرضة لعزوم انحناء وقوى لا مركزية بطريقة الحدود وقد تم وضع هذه المعادلات في صورة جداول ومنحنيات كما يحتوي على منحنيات لتصميم القطاعات المستطيلة والدائرية والمسدسة المعرضة لقوى ضغط لا مركزية وقد تم إضافة العديد من الأمثلة المحلولة.
