الصنعاني (1099 - 1182 هـ = 1688 - 1768 م)
محمد بن إسماعيل بن صلاح بن محمد الحسني، الكحلاني ثم الصنعاني، أبو إبراهيم، عز الدين، المعروف كأسلافه بالأمير: مجتهد، من بيت الإمامة في اليمن. يلقب (المؤيد بالله) ابن المتوكل على الله. ولد بمدينة كحلان، ونشأ وتوفي بصنعاء.
أصيب بمحن كثيرة من الجهلاء والعوام.
له نحو مئة مؤلف، ذكر صديق حسن خان أن أكثرها عنده (في الهند). من كتبه:

Book Description
يعد كتاب "بلوغ المرام جمع أدلة الأحكام" من أنفس الكتب التي تبحث في أدلة الأحكام، وذلك لبيانه الوافي في تبسيط أدلتها وشرح أحاديثها. فجاء حاوياً لأصول السنة حيث ضمنه الحافظ ابن حجر العسقلاني المتوفى سنة 852هـ، أهم أحكام السنة المطهرة، ومن ثم جاء الإمام محمد بن إسماعيل بن صلاح الكحلاني ثم الصنعاني المعروف بالأمير، الفقيه الأصولي المجتهد من أئمة اليمن (1099-1182هـ)، ففصل هذه الأحكام بإيجاز مقتضب، لا بالتقصير المخل ولا بالتطويل الممل، فجاء هذا الكتاب كواحد من أروه كتب شرح الأحكام مع التدقيق والتحقيق، ولا نبالغ إذا ما قلنا إن هذا الكتاب قد حوى أصول القضايا في شرح حديث رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم.
