هذه الموسوعة تتضمن ما يأتي: شرح تفصيلي مقارن لتعريف الإرهاب وتمييزه عن غيره من الظواهر الاجتماعية المشابهة ونشأة الإرهاب وأسبابه والآثار المترتبة عليه ومفهومه في الشريعة الإسلامية وتصدي الإسلام لمكافحته والمقصود بالإرهاب في القانون المصري والقوانين العربية الأفريقية والأسيوية ونصوص الاتفاقية العربية لمكافحة الإرهاب وأساليب التحقيق الجنائي التطبيقي والفني في الجرائم الإرهابية والجهة القضائية المختصة بالجرائم الارهابية والتنظيم القانوني الدولي لمواجهة الإرهاب والنصوص العربية والإنجليزية للاتفاقيات الدولية المتعلقة بالإرهاب وأحكام المحاكم العليا وتأثير الارهاب على حقوق الإنسان وكيفية مكافحة الإرهاب والتصدي له وذلك فيما يلي:
أولًا: التعريف بالإرهاب ومفهومه ونشأته وأسبابه والآثار المترتبة عليه, ثانيًا: شرح الإرهاب في قانون العقوبات المصري وقوانين الدول العربية, ثالثًا: شرح الاتفاقية العربية لمكافحة الإرهاب وتطبيقاتها في الدول العربية, رابعًا: طرق وأساليب التحقيق الجنائي التطبيقي والفني في الجرائم الإرهابية, خامسًا: تحديد الجهات القضائية المختصة دوليًا, داخليًا بنظر الجرائم الارهابية, سادسًا: النصوص العربية والإنجليزية للمعاهدات الدولية المتعلقة بالارهاب, سابعًا: الآثار القانونية المترتبة على التصديق على معاهدات مكافحة الإرهاب, ثامنًا: المصطلحات الإنجليزية المتعلقة بالإرهاب وحقوق الإنسان وترجمتها للعربية.
