حسبي ألوح للقصائد أن تجيء من المنافي كي تعود إلى المنافي في طريق الرمل تنزع خيمة لبدوية، تلهو مع الحب الموشم في تضاريس الفلاة، في كل أسطول أخوض جراحه تبتل أشرعة (القطيف) إذا هوى، من ساحلي زغب غليظ القلب يخدش صفحتي، ويظن أن خلاخل الأنثى تعادل ما حفرنا من رفات، وكذلك شوك النخيل يغور في جسد المحبة، كي أغازل عتقه ولكي أذوب مع السواقي في مزاريب (التوحش) حيث أوداد انفلات.
