إذا كان اليهود قد نالوا من أنبيائهم، وطعنوا في رُسلهم، واتهموهم بأفظع الإتهامات، وافتروا عليهم بأفحش المفتريات، فنسبوا إليهم أعمالاً قبيحة لا تليق بمكانتهم، وتتنافى مع عصمتهم، وهم الذين اصطفاهم الله من خلقه، وإجتباهم من عباده، وصنعهم على عينه.
إذا كان اليهود قد فعلوا ذلك بأنبيائهم، فإن سيدنا داوود عليه السلام كان له النصيب الأكبر من هذه المفتريات، وتلك الإتهامات؛ حيث رموه بكثير من المطاعن، وألصقوا به جملة من الأكاذيب؛ فقد طعنوا في نسبه الشريف: حيث رموه في أسفارهم بأنه - وهو النبي المصطفى والرسول المجتبى - من سلالة الزنى - وحاشاه عليه السلام -، وطعنوا في دينه وخلقه، حينما رموه في أسفارهم بالزنا - والعياذ بالله - من إمرأة أوريا الحثي، وطعنوا في بيته وأسرته وأولاده بمن فيهم سيدنا سليمان عليه السلام.
ثم كانت الطامة الكبرى حين تسللت هذه الأكاذيب إلى بعض مصادر الفكر الإسلامي؛ حيث وردت تلك المفتريات في كثير من كتب التفسير والتاريخ ونُقلت على أنها روايات بعضها مرفوع إلى النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم، وبعضها الآخر موقوف على الصحابة والتابعين.
فكان لا بد من معالجة هذا الأمر الخطير، ونقد هذه المرويات من ناحيتي السند والمتن، وبيان أنها تتنافى مع عصمة سيدنا داوود عليه السلام، وأنها من الإسرائيليات الخطيرة التي ينبغي مواجهتها، وتنقية كتب التراث من فسادها، وبيان التفسير الصحيح للآيات المذكورة في سورة "ص" بما يتفق مع تنزيه نبي الله داوود عن مطاعن ومفتريات اليهود في العهد القديم والإسرائيليات.
