The selection of vocabulary has been done according to an exhaustive reason of various English- Arabic dictionaries, as well as English newspapers and magazines. For instance, political and diplomatic vocabulary has been selected from a detailed reading of daily English and Arabic newspapers, UN charter, the Security Council resolutions, amnesty international, speeches of heads of states, etc. The selection of legal vocabulary is selected from Arabic and English legal texts, agreements, international treaties, etc. The selection of economic and financial vocabulary is selected from economic texts in newspapers, magazines. The selection of military vocabulary is based on the wide reading of military texts including the three services which are the land, air, and navy forces. Military vocabulary will also deal with the vocabulary of military equipment. The selection of scientific vocabulary is based on the wide reading of scientific and technical articles and other resources related to technology, medicine, science, etc.
