This Book is presented with a new look at the problem of the relationship of Time and Eternity interpreted from the sole fact of the revelation in Chirst-man as citizen of the 'Two Worlds' of the book's title. From this derives the vital question of the relationship of the Eternal Gospel and historical Christianity, arising out of which comes eschatology and apocalypse, messianism and history, the meaning of history, and the idea of progress. The last chapter, 'The Gospel and the Reconciliation of the World', is concerned especially with the Christian Gospel and the Other Religions.
